ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -  From the heat of the grid iron, to the heat of a kitchen, St. Louis Rams players are giving out Thanksgiving meals.

The players donated more than $28,000 to the Urban League Thanksgiving Project, so more than 2,000 families can celebrate the holiday. On Tuesday, select players will give out meals at the three area Urban League locations. Those meals are given to pre-selected needy families. Then members of the rams defensive line will also make home deliveries to select families in the Jennings area.
