(KTVI) - Aldermen in Sunset Hills approve a controversial plan for a new dog park.

The plan has been the focus of a "You Paid For It" investigation. The park will be built on land now used as a youth ball field.

Sunset Hills and Crestwood got a $220,000 grant from St. Louis County for the project. Sunset Hills Aldermen approved the plan, 6-2. It should be ready for pet owners by next spring.
