Suspect charged in shooting of Off-Duty St.Louis Police Officer

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s office has formally charged a suspect involved in shooting an off-duty St. Louis Police Officer, who was visiting his sister’s  home on Wednesday, November 13th.

22-year-old David D. Williams has been charged with 1st Degree Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, 1st Degree Assault and two counts of Armed Criminal Action for shooting of a 32-year-old, 11 year veteran of the St. Louis Police Department.

William is in federal custody, on unrelated charges.
