The San Francisco 49ers completed the season sweep of the Rams, winning 23-13 in San Francisco on Sunday. The Niners won the team's first meeting in St. Louis back in September.

In the second meeting, the 49ers shut down the Rams offense, allowing just two Greg Zuerlein field goals before St. Louis finally found the end zone in the game's final minute. That was a Kellen Clemens three yard touchdown pass to Brian Quick that ended the scoring at 23-13.

The 49ers got a touchdown run by Frank Gore and a TD catch from Vernon Davis to build a 23-6 lead. The loss drops the Rams season record to 5-7, dealing their playoff chances a serious blow,
