Another man shot in the head in St. Louis City

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis Police are investigating a shooting in north St. Louis.
Forty-year-old Byron Earts was shot in the head at North Grand and Kossuth just after 1 p.m. Earts was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators do not have any suspects at this time.

Two other men were shot in the head overnight.  Police report two men were shot in separate incidents.  One of them died.  The first incident happened on Church Road in north St. Louis just before 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Police found a 22-year-old man shot in the head in an alley.  Many bullet casings were found on the scene.  There is no suspect information or motive at this time.

Another man was also shot in the head around midnight in north city.  Police say someone shot the 27-year-old while he was sitting in his van on Helen Street.

He ran one block over to Hogan where he collapsed.  He was taken to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.
