Former Cardinals Carlos Beltran and Rafael Furcal both found new teams on Friday. The Cardinals chose not to re-sign either veteran player, so Beltran signed with the New York Yankees on Friday night. Beltran gets three years worth 45 million dollars.

Former Cardinals shortstop Rafael Furcal signed earlier in the day with the Miami Marlins. Furcal did not play for the Cardinals in 2013, after having elbow surgery during spring training. Furcal will play second base for the Marlins.
