ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- Missouri Education Commissioner Chris Nicastro is under fire for allegedly supporting a school reform agenda that heavily supports charter schools.

Critics say charter schools in St. Louis don’t have the same oversight as public schools and are run by private, for-profit companies.

They are also blasting Nicastro for floating a plan to combine unaccredited districts into a state-wide super school district.
