Local Mega Millions players win $5,000 and $20,000 prizes

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – It may not be $636 million, but someone in St. Clair, Missouri is $20,000 richer after Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing.

Eleven others won $5,000 each and some of them are in the St. Louis are.

According to the Missouri Lottery, the $20,000 ticket was sold  at Fast Lane, 8299 Highway 47, in St. Clair.

May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery, said players should always check their tickets carefully, since there are eight other prizes, besides the jackpot, in the game.

Two $5,000 tickets were sold in St. Louis, and others in Fenton, Warrenton, and Chesterfield.

  • · $5,000 – Gerbes, 2805 W. Truman Blvd., Jefferson City
  • · $5,000 – Perryville Conoco, 312 S. Kingshighway, Perryville
  • · $5,000 – Casey’s General Store, 604 N. Main, Republic
  • · $5,000 – Cody’s Eagle Stop, 185 Highway W, Marshfield
  • · $5,000 – Globe Cut Rate Drugs, 1900 S. Broadway, St. Louis
