Man holds up Fifth Third Bank in Ferguson

FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – Police and the FBI are responding to a bank robbery at Fifth Third Bank in Ferguson, Missouri.

Officials say the suspect walked into the branch on New Halls Ferry Road and indicated that he had a gun.
The robber left before getting any money. No weapon was shown.

No one was injured.  Authorities are now searching for the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’8″ to 5’10”, possibly in his late 40s to early 50s, and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark knit cap, dark zip up jacket with a light colored trim, blue jeans, and dark shoes. He has warts around his chin and mouth.
