Illinois Concealed Carry application process opens Jan. 5

(KTVI) – Required classes for concealed carry gun licenses in Illinois are filling up fast.

That’s according to the Alton Telegraph.  The application process opens January 5th.  Anyone applying for the concealed carry license must have completed a 16-hour course from an Illinois State Police approved instructor.

Illinois State Police officials have said they anticipate 400,000 applications this year.
