ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - St. Louis water crews are braving the frigid temperatures to deal with several water main breaks.  Right now, they're busy in south St. Louis.

The first break is at Tennessee and Schrimer just off Interstate 55. The situation there is a little unique.  Water crews say they know there's a water main break in the area, but haven't been able to dig it up yet.

They dug a test hole to try and find the exact location of the break. Crews were waiting for utility workers to arrived and mark off the area so they don't damage any utility lines when they dig up the break.

Some workers left that scene to check out another possible break at Carondelet and Adkins also in South City.
