Frozen water pipe burst closes Parkway ES

CHESTERFIELD, MO. (KTVI)  - The Shenandoah Valley elementary  school in the Parkway School District will be closed Thursday, Jan. 9 and Friday, Jan. 10th, due to water damage done to the school, after water pipes burst Wednesday at the school.

Officials say the damage was discovered Wednesday, while school was not in session.

Damage was limited to 9 rooms, 7 class rooms, and 2 administrative offices.

District officials plan to meet on Thursday, to decide whether to hold classes at the school or move the students to another school, till the damage is repaired.
