Blues end winning streak with 2-1 loss to Canucks

(KTVI)-The St. Louis Blues were looking to extend their winning streak to eight games Friday night when they took on the Vancouver Canucks.  Vancouver struck first, Zac Dalpe scoring in the second period.   Alex Pietrangelo did tie it up later in the period, but in the third period Mike Santorelli deflected another one past goalie Brian Elliott making it 2-1.

The Blues couldn’t answer. They Canucks end a five-game losing streak by beating the St. Louis Blues 2-1.

Also on Friday, the St. Louis Blues announced they had signed forward Ryan Reaves to a four-year, $4.5 million contract extension.
