(KTVI) – Former FOX News host Glenn Beck made a trip back to the network on Wednesday. In an interview with Megyn Kelly he said that, “I think I played a role unfortunately in helping tear the country apart.”

Beck’s show had a successful run on the news network from January 2009 to June 2011.. But, it became known as bit of a lightning rod for controversial topics. Advertisers eventually pulled spots from the program after Beck said that President Obama had a, “deep-seated hatred for white people.”

The radio DJ opened up to Kelly in an interview this week. She asked, “When you think back on your time here, how do you remember it now?” Beck replied, “I remember it as an awful lot of fun, and that I made an awful lot of mistakes, and I wish I could go back and be more uniting in my language. Because I think I played a role unfortunately in helping tear the country apart. And it’s not who we are. I didn’t realize how really fragile the people were. I thought we were kind of a little more in it together. And now I look back and I realize if we could have talked about the uniting principles a little bit more, instead of just the problems, I think I would look back on it a little more fondly. But that’s only my role.”

Glenn Beck founded the news site, The Blaze after leaving FOX News. He also renewed his radio contract for $100 million.

Beck needn’t apologize, he was only stating the truth.
He should have added Holder, as well.

What he didn’t do was abide by the mainstream media’s rule that we don’t discuss such things, nor even allow them to be brought up.

I agree with Beck that he contributed to tearing the country apart – him, Rush Limbaugh and Andrew Breitbart – by supporting absurd and ugly ideas that too many uninformed people bought into. They fed the lunatic and racist fringe and kept it going. I am amazed that Beck realizes this but give him credit for admitting it.

Sure, I forgive him just as I would another notable hate-mongering strident attention-seeking disturbed individual, hmm. Adolf somebody. I can’t fathom how anyone can listen to his delusional rants on a frequent basis and not question their own sanity, judgment and religious teachings. IMO, He exhibits most of the features of a classic Personality Disorder (borderline, histrionic), admits to having substance dependency issues, and very likely is Bipolar as well. So if this bombastic blowhard makes sense and appeals to you, what does that say about you?

It says that I, unlike you, like to keep an open mind and appreciate the 1st amendment and the right of all Americans to exercise it.
