90% of US homes have higher heating bills because of freezing temps

(KTVI) –   The polar plunging temps is causing higher heating bills across the country.

The federal government reports predict more than 90 percent of the nation’s homes will have higher heating bills this winter. If you heat your home with electricity, expect to see at least a two-percent jump in your bill.  If you heat with natural gas, your bill will be at least 13 percent higher.
