FAA orders inspections of Boeing 767 jets

(KTVI) – There are some new concerns about a Boeing commercial passenger planes.

Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration said there could be a problem with the tail sections in Boeing 767 jets. The tail section could potentially jam, causing pilots to lose control of the aircraft. The problem could affect over 400 planes in the United States.

In Monday’s Federal Register, the FAA is ordering safety checks to start on March 3, 2014.
