CHICAGO, IL (KTVI) - An Illinois snow plow driver is being hailed a hero. He used his plow to stop a wrong-way driver.

It happened Saturday morning on the Kennedy Expressway in Chicago. Ed Piasecki was working IDOT's overnight shift when he heard over his radio that a car was headed the wrong way and headed towards him. The plow and the car were close to colliding head-on. But, Piasecki had a size advantage and with a quick maneuver saved the driver's life and possibly many others.

It would have been a better story, if the plow driver lowered the plow blade and got the truck up to 100 mph and slammed the drunk to hell.
