CREVE COUER, MO (KTVI)-- Demonstrators and police face off at Monsanto headquarters in Creve Couer.

Some of them were arrested.

Protestors think genetically modified food is dangerous and want Monsanto to support mandatory labeling.

Monsanto scientists say genetically modified food has been around for more than 20 years and is proven safe.

Company shareholders voted thumbs down on supporting mandatory labeling.

Here, allow me to embellish this story: The Corporate Police of Creve Coeur arrested some protesters today for protesting at one of their corporate owners, Monsanto.

Protestors, and pretty much the rest of the civilized Western world like Canada and Europe, KNOW genetically modified food is dangerous and want Monsanto to support simple labelling, or “telling the truth” as it is called in some societies.

Alas, America is “different” and has almost 50% of the population duped and brainwashed into being little obedient sheep and believe when they say modifying nature is perfectly safe! Of course, these are the same people, for the most part, who still think that our huge budget deficits are caused by poor people on welfare! Isn’t that absurd? Can you believe anybody is still really that naive to believe that? Yikes!

So no WONDER Monsanto doesn’t have much opposition here. Folks around here just aren’t concerned about their food – they have more important things to worry about like carrying concealed weapons and allowing prayer in schools!

oh my gosh you actually almost got something right. The only thing you forgot to add that MONSANTO Executives are more Prominent in the OBAMA Administration than anyone else. He even passed the monsanto protection act. Why is it so hard for you to understand that democrats have interest in you. Its all scam

Oh, it’s been around for 20 years! Well then it MUST be safe. HA So everything that we have banned or recalled in the past 20 years should be brought back. SMH
