Passengers evacuate plane at O’Hare airport

CHICAGO, IL (WGN) — Fifty-seven passengers and four crew members evacuated Republic Airlines flight 4309 on landing at Chicago O’Hare International Airport after the flight crew received an flight deck instrument warning of a possible issue aboard the aircraft.

Out of an abundance of caution, the captain ordered an emergency evacuation.

All passengers and crew aboard the Embraer E175 were deplaned using the emergency exit evacuation slides.

No serious injuries were reported. The flight was operating as American Eagle from Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.
