ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– St. Louis County will get a new police chief by the end of the week. Retiring Chief Tim Fitch’s last day on the job is Friday, that’s when the police board is expected to name his replacement.

Sources tell Fox 2 the choice will almost certainly be one of the three frontrunners: Commander of the Division of Criminal Investigation Lt. Colonel Kenneth Cox, Lt. Colonel Kenneth Gregory who oversees the patrol division, and Lt. Colonel Jon Belmar, head of the division of special operations.
