ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - One lane of Interstate 70 is open, but getting around downtown will still be tricky Monday morning. That's because drivers are waiting for more lanes to open up.
Only one lane of eastbound Interstate 70 downtown between Pine and the Poplar Street Bridge is open. Crews are removing a retaining wall along the interstate near Walnut Street as part of preparations for the Park Over the Highway project.
Lanes will remain closed until sometime before 3 p.m. Monday afternoon, after crews fix the pavement.
