Man gets 3 years in jail for doing donuts on a football field

TROY, MO (KTVI) – A young man faces three years in jail for doing donuts in the Troy Middle School’s football field. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Darrell Mozee, 20, plead guilty to felony property damage.  The prank caused $880 in damage to the field.

Mozee was at a friend’s house next to the football field in September of 2012. He took his friend’s Ford Mustang after he fell asleep and drove the car on to the field.

He was sentenced on Monday by Circuit Judge Chris Kunza Mennemeyer. Mozee will need to pay back the damages within 60 days of release.
