ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- Drivers are still dealing with some slick spots and icy bridges and overpasses.

MoDOT and the city street department had full crews already pre-treating roads as early as 4:30 a.m.

The morning commute went relatively smooth, but that changed a bit according to Todd Waelterman. With the freezing drizzle that fell after the morning rush, that threw the city streets department a curve ball.

By 9-10 o’clock they had to re-treat roads to take care of the evening rush.

If you have to drive make sure you take your time on the overpasses some of them are still slick and they can be dangerous.
