Highland bank employee robbed at gunpoint

highland bank robberHIGHLAND, IL (KTVI) – A bank employee was robbed at gunpoint at a Metro East ATM.  Now police are looking for the suspect.

Highland police say a masked man approached a bank employee at an outside the Bradford National Bank Friday morning and demanded money.

The suspect had a gun  and took an unknown amount of cash from the ATM cash box.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 6-foot-tall, and 180 pounds.  He was wearing a black and white bandana over his face with a dark baseball cap, dark coat, jeans and dark shoes.
