WARREN COUNTY, MO (KTVI)- Slick road conditions are being blamed for sending a Warrenton police to the hospital Friday afternoon.

The officer was investigating a two car crash near mile marker 193 on eastbound Interstate 70. That is when a third vehicle lost control on the icy roads and slid into the officer.

The officer was conscious at the scene and taken to a St. Charles County hospital. There is no word on his or her condition.
