Pedestrian killed in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - A man is dead after being struck by a car in south St. Louis Saturday morning

The 62-year-old Doyce Hale was hit by a car along Kingshighway at Gravois around 10:30 am.

He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but died from his injuries.

The driver, a 28-year-old man remained on the scene, and is cooperating with investigators.

    you know i seen this accident and the fucking police took 30 minutes to get there even longer for the paramedics.. i hope those cops sleep well at night

    This was my uncle that was killed. He walked these streets for 40+ years and was legally blind. Stan….did you see the accident happen? We are looking for any information that can help our family. Does anyone know if this guy was taken into custody? This was an “accident” that should NEVER have happened and he was taken from us way too early.
