(KTVI) – “You Decide 2016”, former Missouri House Speaker Catherine Hanaway will resign her post as “National Committeewoman” for the “Republican State Central Committee”, effective in May, to pursue “another endeavor.”

That “other endeavor” is her previously announced 2016 run for Missouri governor.

State Auditor Tom Schweich is widely expected to challenge Hanaway for the GOP nomination.

Attorney General Chris Koster has said he intends to seek the democratic nomination.

Democratic Governor Jay Nixon can’t seek a third term due to Missouri‚Äôs term-limits law.

Personally I like chris, but he’s on the wrong side. I think Hanaway would be good for the job. Voted for Jay back when, haven’t been sorry, but vowed I’d never do it again.

Anybody but Nixon..Hopefully, nobody named carnahan will run..You would think between tax man Carnahan and pepperidge farm holden, people had enough with liberals..But Nixon somehow made it twice, due to low info voters..The city has always been horrible due to Dem leadership..when will people wake up? The important thing is nationally they will..there will be a housecleaning in november..
