Illini Wins Second Straight, 60-49 over Huskers

The Fighting Illini basketball team is making a late season surge, winning their second straight game, 60-49 over Nebraska on Wednesday night in Champaign, IL.

Kendrick Nunn led Illinois in scoring with 13 points. Belleville East graduate Malcolm Hill added ten points as did teammate Rayvonte Rice. The victory broke a Nebraska six game winning streak. The win gives the Illini a 16-12 record as the regular season winds down.
