Kansas City makes list of cities bidding to host the 2016 RNC

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Kansas City has made the final eight in the battle to host the 2016 Republican National Convention. The GOP chairman revealed the eight cities that will move on to the next round of scrutiny on Thursday. The list includes Kansas City, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, Denver, Dallas, Las Vegas and Phoenix.

On Monday the eight cities will present their bids to the full selection committee.
