GRANITE CITY, IL (KTVI)-- The superintendent of Granite City schools is meeting with parents Thursday night to give them information about some proposed cuts to the district's band program.

Parents fear it could eventually lead to the elimination of the program.

That meeting is at 7 tonight.

Why doesn’t the super take a pay cut on his fat 200k plus salary? That’s right, he’s a union liberal much for the kids..The poor super’s BMW is probably two years old..Take from the kids and families and give it to faculty..That’s the union way! Just ask Normandy..
