(KTVI) – The Rock Community Fire Protection District demonstrated the use of special rescue air bags to the Teen Student Emergency Response Team at Windsor Middle School. Firefighters use the rescue air bags to lift heavy objects off of victims.

Firefighters taught the teens how to lift a 2,000-pound vehicle using the air lifting bags, according to a press release. Teens worked along side firefighters. Members of The Rock Community’s heavy rescue squad helped teens safely operate the controls.

The class was held to show teens how firefighters work as a team.
