NORMANDY (KTVI) – The Normandy High School Choir is heading to the Big Apple Friday morning to sing at the famed Carnegie Hall.

The Normandy community and Beyond Housing made the trip possible by raising $16,000 within a week to cover travel expenses.

Out of 60 choirs, only four were selected. The students are living their own version of the FOX series “Glee”, as they compete at the National High School Choral Festival in New York City.

You can keep up with the student’s performance here.
