Buchanan High School burglarized in Lincoln County

TROY, MO (KTVI) – Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies are investingating the burglary of Buchanan High School in Troy, Missouri that occurred Monday night around 8:30 pm.

The suspect, a white male in his 30’s, wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans and blue gloves made his entry into the school via the boiler room, ransacked several classrooms, the principal’s office, using a hammer and screwdriver to gain access to school’s offices.  Investigators believe the suspect gain access to some rooms by using keys he got from schools offices.

Video surveillance in the schools shows the suspect taking a safe that had around $600 in it, pushing it to the basement and loading it into a gray or white minivan parked at a loading dock.

Investigators say video surveillance has images of people using the schools track at the time of the burglary, their asking for those individuals to contact the sheriff’s office at 636-528-8546.
