JUPITER, FL (KTVI) - The Cardinals are adding to their "Homers for Health" home run pledge program this season.

Since pitchers don't normally hit home runs, Jason Motte and Adam Wainwright helped announce a new fundraiser.

"What's going on, the pitchers wearing K's 4 K's."

Matt Holliday says: "You two aren't invited to this press conference because pitchers don't hit home runs, and this is called Homers for Health."

This season, along with "homers for health," cardinal’s pitchers will take part in "K's for Kids".

Fans will be able to make a pledge for every home run hit or strike out thrown by a pitcher, with the money going to Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center.
