Dave Murray’s Latest STL forecast and weather disco…Wednesday…March 12, 2014:

***Back to that winter look and feel today…Wednesday…high winds and cold temperatures…a sloppy rain/snow mix in the morning…but be aware of the winds…40+ m.p.h. in the morning…wind chills in the single numbers***

WEDNESDAY:

Wet snow and high winds in the morning…cold temperatures and wind chills…some clearing in the afternoon
WINDS: Northwest 15-45 M.P.H.
HIGH: 39 degrees

WEDNESDAY NIGHT:

Partly cloudy and just plain cold…light winds
WINDS: Northwest 5-10 M.P.H.
LOW: 25 DEGREES.

THURSDAY:

Partly sunny…a cold morning..better in the afternoon
WINDS: Southeast 5-15 M.P.H.
HIGH: 58 degrees

Hanging around 60 Friday and Saturday…rain showers Saturday night and Sunday

THE WEATHER DISCO:

A developing low pressure kicks to our east…quickly on this Wednesday…racing to the east coast by late day…but this system brings the impressive change in seasons…from late spring back to winter…lets all repeat…winter is not over yet…and the next 2 to 3 weeks…winter will continue to keep the battle going. High winds and wet snow in the morning…a sloppy coating in spots…winds will drop off in the afternoon…but its a cold day…about 39 for the high…40+ degrees colder than Tuesday. Wednesday night is cold…mid 20’s…and a cold start Thursday morning…with a warm up for the afternoon 58 for the high…that is where we should be this time of year. Quiet and pleasant Friday and Saturday…rain showers on tap Saturday night and Sunday. Enjoy this wild weather ride…even for STL pretty wild stuff.
