(KTVI) – Books came to life with baked goods and pastries at the St. Louis Public Library. Jilly’s brought Charlie and the Chocolate Factory alive with delightful cupcakes.

Casey Shiller, from Jilly’s, brought some of the cupcakes to the station to share with Tim Ezell. You can buy them this month at the cupcake palace on Delmar Boulevard. A portion of the sales from those cakes will benefit the library.

Jilly’s has also been honored with the Achievement of Excellence Award, bestowed by the national chefs' organization- the American Culinary Federation. They will be showcased at the Budweiser Best of St. Louis dine-around on Monday, March 17, along with the best chefs in the city.
