Granite City man charged with meth possession

GRANITE CITY, IL (KTVI) – The Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office has charged 40-year-old William L. Black with possession of methamphetamine. Black was stop on Saturday, March 15th around 7:30 pm after a Madison County Sheriff’s Deputy observed Black riding bicycle not equipped with a front or rear light and not using a hand signal before making a turn, as required by law.

A search of Black uncovered two packets of methamphetamine, and was placed under arrest.

Black’s bond has been set at $25,000.

    I know William black I worked with him at lantern he was a pretty good guy and friend hope every thing works out.
