Reporter caught off guard by an earthquake on live TV

LOS ANGELES, CA – During a live newscast anything can happen, including an earthquake.

Tech reporter Rich Demuro wrote, “I do a tech report for a bunch of TV stations based out of Los Angeles. I was on the air in San Digeo doing a live shot when the Westwood earthquake happened.”

That’s our tech guy Rich Demuro giving a live interview this morning during the quake. Seismologists say the earthquake was a magnitude 4.4.
