One Run for Boston to be in St. Louis April 3rd

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – With the Boston Marathon less than a month away, and event heading to St. Louis connected to the Boston Marathon will arrive in St. Louis on April 3rd.

One Run for Boston is a coast to coast running relay dedicated to support the survivors of last year’s Boston Marathon Bombing. The relay started in Santa Monica, California on March 16th and is making it’s way across America arriving in Boston two days before the marathon on April 21st.

The baton will arrive in Des Peres around 2 am and will be passed 5 times in the St. Louis area before crossing the McKinley Bridge into Illinois around 8 am.

130 runners will take part in the relay in Missouri helping raise money to support 2014’s bombing victims.
