ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Laclede Gas will honor Missouri`s cold weather rule for an extra month.

State law prohibits utility companies from turning off service if temperatures dip below 32-degrees within a 24-hour period. That rule usually runs November 1st through March 31st.

But, this past winter has been so cold that Laclede Gas says it will extend the rule through April.
