HELENA, MO (KTVI) – Arlis Noe has several robins in the backyard of his home in a town near St. Joseph Missouri. Recently he found one with an all white head. Bird experts credit a genetic condition for the oddity. It affects only one in thousands of birds. Unless you see it, it's hard to believe.

"I told a couple of my friends and they didn't believe me. I called up my cousin and said, do you want to see a Robin with a white head? He said, how many pills you been a taking." said Arlis Noe.

The condition is often confused with the genetic condition in albino animals. This doesn't affect the skin, just the feathers on top and it can appear just about anywhere. A miracle of mother nature found outside the kitchen window.
