(KTVI)-A Boston Marathon runner from the St. Louis area is running for a cause. Unlimited Play is a non-profit organization in the St. Louis area that builds playgrounds for children who live with disabilities to enjoy right alongside their peers. Amanda Stanec is raising money for the cause as she trains to run those 26.2 miles.

Unlimited Play was started by Natalie and Todd Blakemore. Their son, Zach, lives with a rare disease which affects his central nervous system. The couple dreamt of creating an accessible playground where Zach could play near their Lake St. Louis home. That’s how Unlimited Play was born. There are currently four playgrounds built, with several more in development.
