Dangers of yard work

(KTVI) – With spring arriving, it’s a good time to talk about yard work. Dr. Alex Vidan, from Vidan Family Chiropractic, talked with Tim Ezell about the dangers of gardening.

Most people have been sitting in front of a computer or TV screen all winter, and spring weather motivates people to get out and work in the yard. We’ve had a longer winter this year, and people have a tendency to do too much too fast.

Typically, the body isn’t prepared for the sudden increase in activity and people develop strains and sprains - injuries to the soft tissues, muscles, tendons and ligaments.
