Kevin Reid sentenced to Life for murder of babysitter and baby

EDWARDSVILLE, IL (KTVI) – Madison County Circuit Judge James Hackett Tuesday sentenced Kevin Reid to life in prison for the murders of Anquiaette “Tweety” Parker, 19, and her 4-year-old cousin Cermen “C.J.” Toney Jr. Both had disappeared on November 6, 2005 that led to a massive search for the two by multiple law enforcement agencies.

Anquiaette Parker_ Cermen ToneyParker at the time was pregnant, and was babysitting her 4-year-old cousin Toney when they disappeared.

Reid was charged with their murders on March 28, 2008, after their bodies were found in a cistern on property owned by Reid.

    He will actually pay for his crime in Ill. Dept. of Corrections, unlike mo. Corrections, where they have ALL the rights. Ill.Correctional Officers are not sympathetic hug a thugs and their living conditions are more like prison should be.
