JEFFERSON CITY, MO (KTVI) – The Missouri senate passed a resolution to create a task force charged with trying to bring the Super Bowl to Kansas City. The measure has now been sent to the house for consideration.

According to “The Kansas City Star“, if the resolution is adopted, the Missouri’s Department of Economic Development would be charged with forming a group to determine what Kansas City need to host a Super Bowl.

The resolution’s sponsor says that 2010’s $350 million renovation of Arrowhead Stadium would make it an attractive venue for the Super Bowl.
