ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill will spend part of her day Tuesday talking with technology workers in the Cortex center in midtown St. Louis. She will host a question and answer session at 2:30 pm in the Cortex I building lobby.

She wants to hear from workers, what government can do to help spur technological innovation, enhance the St. Louis area for opportunities in technology and boost jobs for Missourians.

Cortex was started in 2002 by Washington University, BJC Healthcare, University of Missouri-St. Louis, St. Louis University, and the Missouri Botanical Garden to spur bio-tech, life sciences and genetic research for emerging markets.
