KANSAS CITY, MO (AP) – A former Missouri lawmaker has been sentenced to five years of probation for Social Security fraud.

The Kansas City Star reports that Ray Salva was sentenced Wednesday. Court records indicate he pleaded guilty last year and already had paid restitution of $58,816.

So this guy is a Democrat, and only got 5 years probation for stealing from American taxpayers as a legislator?

All the right-wingers will be on here soon pointing that out! It’s why Fox chose this story!

Of course, truth be told, all the Republicans ripping of taxpayers for FAR MORE money than this aren’t even being caught or prosecuted, because they’re firmly in charge, thanks to our unfair districting that gives 5,000 people in rural areas more representation that 500,000 people in urban areas. And that’s a fact. Retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens wrote about it in his book. It’s appalling.

So this Democrat got a light sentence I’m sure for being a Democrat – but we’ll never hear about all the Republicans stealing FAR MORE.
