Kim Anderson introduced as Mizzou’s new head basketball coach

COLUMBIA, MO (KTVI) – Update:  The University of Missouri Athletic department has officially introduced Kim Anderson as the new head coach of it’s men’s basketball program.

The announcement came Monday at 3:00 PM via a university press release.

Anderson comes back to the Tigers, having served Mizzou as an assistant coach under Norm Stewart from 1982-1985 and 1991-1998. Anderson played his college basketball at the University of Missouri. Anderson was currently the head coach at Central Missouri. The Mules win the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Championship this past season.
