EARTH CITY (KTVI) - The Rams used the first round of this year`s NFL draft to focus on improving the offensive and defensive lines.
They came into the first round in a pretty strong position- owning two of the first 13 picks.
They used one of those picks on an offensive lineman; the other on a defensive lineman.
The Rams first pick was the second overall which they got from the Washington Redskins as part of the Robert Griffin III deal.
With that pick, the Rams chose Greg Robinson- the massive offensive tackle from Auburn.
Robinson is 6`5' and 332 pounds.
He was a force to be reckoned with at Auburn especially in run blocking.
With the 13th overall selection, the Rams drafted Aaron Donald.
He is a defensive tackle from Pittsburgh who won many awards for his college play.
Donald is 6`1' and 285 pounds.
The Rams brass says while these picks might not hold a lot of sizzle, they are about building key parts of the team.
Rounds two and three of the draft are tonight.

The Rams have ten more picks still in the draft.
They have one pick in each of the 2nd-5th rounds, then two in the 6th round and 4 in the 7th round.
Here is one more note on Greg Robinson.
He says he got a pretty good idea that the rams were interested in him because the team called him on his cell yesterday morning just to make sure they had the right number.
Then Robinson got the real call last night- surely an incredible moment for him.
