DOSWELL, VA (WTVR) – State police said the search for the remaining missing passenger in a hot air balloon that caught fire after striking a power line Friday night continues Sunday. That search was scaled back Saturday night because of crews’ difficulty navigating the wooded terrain in the dark.

Two victims in Friday night’s hot air balloon fire and crash were members of the University of Richmond women’s basketball staff. The university confirmed Saturday night that associate head women’s basketball coach Ginny Doyle and director of basketball operations Natalie Lewis were on the balloon that crashed.

Official identification is pending from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
